Enrichment Opportunity (Writing):
Barnes and Noble is sponsoring a My Favorite Teacher contest open only to middle and high school students. The deadline is March 1, 2013, so this might be a great writing activity around the Thanksgiving break (9 weeks away…but who’s counting?) or even the Christmas holiday vacation (14 weeks away).

Based on the changes to the curriculum, there were a few changes to the supply list. Thank you for your flexibility.
Must haves:
1.5″ or 2″ binder
Dividers (5 is sufficient but you are welcome to add more)
(1) 100 pg. composition notebook (marbled, college-ruled)
(1) 70 or 100 pg. spiral notebook (college-ruled)
(1) Poly folder w/brads and pockets (to house daily/weekly assignments)
