DT is an excellent place where viewers can go and find documentaries on a variety of subjects. Searches can be done by subject, theme or top 100. There are hundreds of movies available in full length form to watch right on the computer. This website is user-friendly and allows people to navigate through its impressive collection. One of the best advantages of this site is that it is absolutely free and a user can create a playlist and save it.
Lyrics Gap

Lyrics Gap is a wonderful new (beta) site that I stumbled upon in one of my PLN’s. This is a site that is fun for learning a foreign language through the use of music. Basically, a user browses through a number of pop culture songs that are set to a certain language and then tries to fill in the missing words in the song. It’s kind of like that TV game show that Wayne Brady used to host. What makes this great for teachers as they can create custom exercises and select what words of the songs they want omitted and then share a link w/ students to let them try to fill in the blank.

Primary Wall is a great resource that is super easy to use. It’s a sticky note site, similar to Wallwisher but without its slow loading time and difficulty saving. Basically, the teacher creates a site, shares the link with his students, and gives them a question or something to comment about on a sticky note they create. No sign-up or registration is necessary. Classroom possibilities are numerous. You can have students post a sticky note on Monday morning about something they did over the weekend, post a sticky note on questions they may have during a lesson you are teaching and then review their questions at the end of your teaching time, or post a sticky note if they have a question about homework that can be discussed the following day.
